FAQ

Questions, answered

The short version of how Ourfold works for you, your clients and their guests.

Ourfold and Google Drive

Do I still need Google Drive?

Keep using it for your archive. Ourfold is for delivery: the gallery your client and their guests open, choose from and download, for as long as you keep it open.

Why not just share a Drive folder?

A restricted folder means approving an access request for each guest, and an “anyone with the link” folder opens for whoever the link is forwarded to. Ourfold gives each client and guest their own sign-in code, shows the photos under your studio's name, lets your client pick their photos, and closes on the date you set.

Galleries and privacy

Are Ourfold galleries public?

No. There's no public list of galleries, gallery pages aren't indexed by search engines, and anyone without access gets a page-not-found, the same as for a gallery that doesn't exist.

Where are the photos stored?

Galleries are served from Cloudflare, with a locked backup copy of every original at Amazon Web Services. The privacy notice says where data is kept: servers in Singapore.

Clients and guests

How do my clients and guests sign in?

They open their invite or share link, enter their email or Philippine mobile number, and type the 6-digit code we send. Codes by text are on paid plans; email works on every plan.

Do guests need to create an account?

No. There's no password and no sign-up form. A one-time code is all anyone needs.

Can my client share the gallery with wedding guests?

Yes, if you allow guest sharing. Your client makes share links, each with an optional expiry and most-uses limit, or keeps the gallery invite-only. They can remove any guest.

Can I see which guests favorited a photo?

No. You see your client's favorites and, for each photo, how many guests favorited it. Which guest stays private.

Proofing and downloads

How does proofing work, and can I export selections to Lightroom?

Your client picks their photos for the album, the prints or the final edits right in the gallery, and sends you the selection with a note; each new selection is kept as its own version. It's for choosing, not for edit requests. Download any selection as a CSV of file names to filter your Lightroom catalog.

Can clients download original files?

If you allow it. Each gallery has a download limit (none, web size or full resolution) and a ZIP switch. Guests get web size and no ZIP by default.

Uploads and curation

Which file formats can I upload?

JPEG, PNG, HEIC and RAW (Sony ARW, Nikon NEF, Canon CR2 and CR3, Fujifilm RAF, Adobe DNG), up to 150 MB a file and 3,000 photos a gallery.

Does Ourfold delete blurry or duplicate photos automatically?

No. Ourfold suggests blurry frames, near-duplicates and photos with closed eyes. You decide what to hide or delete.

Plans and payment

How much does Ourfold cost, and can I pay with GCash?

Ourfold starts free, with 1 active gallery and 5 GB. Paid plans cost Starter ₱599, Pro ₱1,499 and Studio ₱5,499 a month, and a year costs the same as ten months. Prices include VAT. Pay with GCash, Maya or a card, or with an international card.

What happens if my paid plan ends?

You get a 7-day grace period to renew. After that your studio moves to the Free plan; uploads pause if you're over its limits, and nothing is deleted.

Still deciding?

Try it on a real event. The Free plan has every privacy feature and needs no card.

Free plan: 1 active gallery and 5 GB. No card needed.
